Mandatory training
The educational process requires certain obligations:
The AFGSU level 2 (or Certificate of Training in Emergency Procedures and Care) must allow the identification of medical emergencies and temporary care while waiting for help to arrive.
To do this, AFGSU 2 training provides knowledge on different medical emergencies.
It also allows you to know the first actions to take in the event of accidental injuries and trauma and provides the basis for ensuring the supervision of collective emergency situations, particularly those requiring a health plan.

OBJECTIFS
The purpose of the level 2 emergency procedures and care training certificate is to acquire knowledge enabling the identification of a medical emergency and its management alone or in a team, while waiting for the arrival of the medical team…” (Order of December 30, 2014 – Art. 5)
Audience and prerequisites, the educational process
Holders of the state diploma of doctor of medicine recognized as specialists in stomatology or maxillofacial surgery by the National Council of the Order of Physicians having the necessary skills in laboratory assistant dental prosthesis.
Holders of the French state diploma in dental surgery with the necessary skills in laboratory assistant dental prosthesis.
Holders of the French state diploma in oral surgery with the necessary skills in laboratory assistant dental prosthesis.
Holders of a foreign diploma allowing them to practice stomatology or odontology in their country of origin with the necessary skills in laboratory assistant dental prosthesis.
Holders of the PACES or PASS as well as a dental prosthesis diploma and who can demonstrate three years of professional activity in an assistant dental prosthesis laboratory.
Students other than European Union nationals must have a professional training diploma recognized in their country equivalent to the above prerequisite.
The professional must have held a dental prosthetist diploma for at least 3 years and have worked for at least 3 years in the prosthetics sector without interruption.

After the final exam, there will be a master class program which will run for a minimum period of 18 months and which can be extended if necessary.
ABSTRACT
The creation of assistant prostheses remains a complex act which requires extensive knowledge to be practiced independently.
Since the court decision European Justice of February 25, 2021 The dental prosthetist health professional has the possibility of carrying out the creation of an assistant prosthesis if he has acquired the necessary transversal skills.
The Denturist level training gives this level of competence with theoretical knowledge such as the ethics absent in the profession of Dental Prosthetist and the technical rules of working with a patient, while keeping in mind that the dental surgeon remains the only prescriber in the event of care.
MAIN OBJECTIVE
The objectives of the training program are to obtain the necessary qualifications for direct treatment access with a patient for the creation of an assistant prosthesis.
The Denturist study program consists of training seasoned, competent and expert professionals in their field who can practice their profession independently and without supervision within oral health care teams.
The program includes knowledge of the ethics put in place for the profession.
Professional independence as well as professionalism, respect for the patient and professional secrecy must be acquired during training.
The different illnesses that may come into contact with the healthcare professional must be known in order to be able to anticipate and, if necessary, take steps to refer the patient to healthcare professionals for additional treatment.
Knowledge of the different diseases or infections must be assimilated to be aware of the necessary protection during the activity.
The necessary knowledge concerns biology, microbiology, pharmacology, drug interactions to be able to work correctly and safely with patients.
OPERATIONAL OBJECTIVES (TARGETED SKILLS)
Initial and continuing training for dental technicians and dental surgeons.
This profession has the advantage of relieving dental practices of this work, allowing them to devote more time to dental care (which is the basis of their profession) and digital advances. This profession offers professionals the opportunity to be closer to patients and to fit them at home when necessary.
It is a health profession with a code of ethics and professional responsibility as well as an obligation to respect medical confidentiality in the same way as all health professionals: doctors, ambulance drivers, etc.
